As a photographer, there are weddings that leave an indelible mark on your heart, weaving together cultures, traditions, and moments of pure joy. Jason and Chloe’s romantic backyard wedding was one such occasion – a beautiful fusion of Vietnamese and Irish heritage, captured amidst the backdrop of their family’s cherished gardens. 

The French-Inspired Getting Ready:

Stepping into the French-inspired house where Chloe and those closest to her prepared for the day felt like entering a dream. It reminded me greatly of my time in France. Soft pastel hues adorned the walls, vintage mirrors reflected the morning light, and delicate lace accents whispered tales of romance. Amidst the laughter and excitement, Chloe slipped into a dress handcrafted in Ireland, every stitch a testament to her heritage and timeless elegance.

The Tea Ceremony and Celtic Knot Ceremony:

The couple stood beneath a canopy of trees, exchanging heartfelt vows and tying the Celtic knot, a symbol of eternal love and unity. As the day unfolded, the backyard came alive with the vibrant energy of cultural rituals. Jason, honoring his Vietnamese roots, led a tea ceremony with Chloe, serving his parents with reverence and love.

Capturing Moments Amidst The Garden:

I had the privilege of capturing Jason and Chloe’s love amidst the natural beauty of the backyard. Amidst the lush greenery and vibrant blooms tended to by Jason’s mother, we walked through each moment of their story, laughing and celebrating together. 

Karaoke Night and Home Cooked Dinner:

As day turned to dusk, the backyard transformed into a space of joy and celebration. Guests gathered under the starlit sky, serenading the newlyweds with karaoke renditions that echoed through the night. Meanwhile, the air was filled with the aroma of a dinner lovingly prepared by Jason’s family, blending Vietnamese flavors. Each bite was a taste of home, a tribute to the bonds of family and tradition.
